Members
Spadeadam Motor Club members compete within a variety of different Motor Sport disciplines. Its principle sport is Rallying, whilst other compete in Road Rallying (Navigation events including 12 car rallies), Members also compete on Hillclimbs and sprints.
Current rally members include several top running crews on the AS Performance North of England tarmacadam Championship, including 2009 champions Barry & Michael Lindsay in their Peugeot 106 Gti they were also runner-up on the 2009 SG Petch ANECCC Championship. Keith Taylor / Steve Rogers contest on Tarmac rallies in their Subaru Impreza while Peter Taylor is contesting the British Rally Championship as part of the Fiesta Sporting trophy in the Fiesta R2. Geoffrey Harkness & Caroline Lodge use a Vauxhall Corsa on selected tarmac events whilst also trying to fit in a selection of Sprints & Hillclimbs. Phil Jobson, also with Caroline Lodge, has contested BTRDA events and the RAC. Tim Finch contends some events but attends most running a fleet of hire rallycars on the Scottish Championship.

The club also has a selection of rally co-drivers who vary their loyalties to various drivers! Jemma Bellingham is current British Ladies Co-drivers Champion after 2009 with Molly Taylor in the British Championship in the Suzuki Swift. Allan Cathers is a currently teamed up with Rory Young also in a Mitsubishi Evo and contesting the Scottish Rally Championship.
Jonathan Lodge competes on selected rounds of the British Historic Championship while Fiona Gourlay is contesting the Scottish Tarmac Championship with David Hope. Richard Clark contests selected events as either a driver or a navigator along with his son Simon who also navigates on selected events.
Road event members include 2006 SD34 champion navigator Jerry Hettrick who is also the Clerk of Course for the Spadeadam Motor Club Countdown Navigation Rally.
Not all members compete, other members are involved in running motor sport events, Richard Thomson for example marshals on rallies and is also a track marshal at race meetings all over Great Britain and sometimes in the USA. Chief Marshal for the Pirelli International, Barry Armstrong is a member along with Rally test day organiser John Parker.
